Close My Eyes

No project updates today... just wanted to post this gorgeous Arthur Russell cover.

vid test of puppet

Here's a quick video of the 2nd puppet...

Fun to make, but it's definitely rough. first time sewing and I rushed through it. Just wanted to see all the components together... next one will be of better quality and materials.

Rainier

Been a bit...Here's a sketch of Ben Franklin and my 2nd attempt at making a puppet (work in progress). Puppet needs pupils and I made him horns. The sewing is atrocious on him, but I kinda rushed it and I've never sewn before.

great funk album from emperor norton records for a fake blaxsploitation movie.

Pancho! Movie Poster #3

Here's the finished Don Quixote poster. I really should have sketched out the idea beforehand. The concept is a bit weak, but I still like it.

Mutts

Got some illustration projects calling for dogs... so I thought I'd practice before getting down to business... here's some rough sketches.

Also I've been in a warm, crackly, experimental composer phase.... here's Swod's Gehen.

Don Quixote!

Working on my next "Movie Poster"....... Don Quixote!
(preview below)
Also been listening to a ton of The Boats lately... great zone out music.
I'll post the finished piece soon!

Mock Movie Posters - Round 1

Here are those two close shaped illustrations I started. They've evolved into mock movie posters... I think I'm going to make more. Coming up with silly copy is actually pretty fun.

I'm thinking a Doctor Who and a Don Quixote next? Any suggestions?
